Tips and Know-hows on
Preventing Hair Loss

There are things that one can't buy or control with money. Friendship can be one, but today I'd like to focus on one of the biggest concernshair loss. Health blogs or related websites are busy trying to entice people with different kinds of medication. Treating or preventing baldness, however, is not only expensive, but many say it cannot be "cured" permanently.
As of now, since an effective, everlasting hair growth solution does not exist, one should not be enthralled to take different kinds of pills or try machines, which are not proven by national medical associations.

This post is not to discourage people, but to give you tips, natural, home remedies which are worth noting to reduce the hair loss. Remember the following three DOs and three DON'Ts. Try it for a while then see how it works.

Three DOs to Remember

1. Wash your hair before going to bed.
2. Massage your shoulder and neck.
3. Drink a large amount of water.

Three DON'Ts to Remember
1. Do not use hair products such as wax and gel.
2. Do not dry your hair with hair dryer.
3. Do not drink alcohol or smoke.

Washing hair is very important in preventing hair loss. Tired from work and school, one should just wash face and go to sleep. However, when hair is not washed at night, the wastes will cover the pores. In the same case, when one applies hair mousse or gel, this can be absorbed in the scalp and thus block the pores. If possible, one should minimize the usage and keep the scalp clean. Remember to use lukewarm hair and gently massage the scalp when washing.

When rising for the last time, do it with cold water, which will not only minimize the pores but also make your hair elastic. Muscle-bound neck and shoulder prevents blood from going to the scalp, resulting in the blood-flow disorder. Thus, regularly stretching your body is recommended.

One of the best ways to prevent hair loss is drinking water. When the water content in the body is low, this affects a healthy blood circulation, which makes the scalp thinner and worsens the hair fall. To avoid drying of scalp, especially in the autumn and winter, one should drink at least 1.8 liters of (lukewarm) water per day.

Love-Hate Experiment: How Words Affect Living Things

[Love & Hate Experiment] Check out our experiment on the relationship between words and water. In our office, we grew two onions for the past 3 months. For the one (left), we gave l ove and care with encouraging words like "I love you," while the other one (right) heard bad words like "I hate you" every day. Placed in the same environment with same water and air, the only difference was the words. Look for yourself how words influenced onions. See the water? The onion who was constantly being "hated" turned ugly and dirty. So, why don't you say "l love you" to yourself and your friends today!?

Find ouf the pH of Food You Eat: Acidity and Alkalinity

The pH scale shows the level of acidity or alkalinity of food/drinks you take, which means when you eat or drink something, pH goes up and down. A pH below 7.0 is said to be acidic and above 7.0 is alkaline. Acidic foods are often rich in sulfur, phosphorous and chlorine and alkaline ones are rich in calcium, potassium and iron. In order to maintain the pH balance, one should refer to the pH chart and make sure to consume foods that are in the mid-range of the spectrum. Also, balancing pH level can easily be achieved by drinking antioxidant alkaline water every day.

“Obesity or overweight is not a fat problem but it's an over-acid problem”

“ Obesity or overweight is not a fat problem but it's an over-acid problem ”   Robert O. Young PhD , a research scientist and the author of the book, "The pH Miracle for Weight Loss" on his interview with CNN, shared tips on balancing body chemistry to lose weight. He said, “ Because our bodies constantly need energies, and there's waste product in energy production, which are acids, if our body does not eliminate acids through urination, perspiration or respiration, that acid gets on our hips, thighs, our waste lines, brain and this is what makes us fat ." The question is, how do we balance our body?  You should know what kinds of foods and drinks make you over-acidic. As we have discussed it at the last newsletter, one should avoid intake of too much acidic foods such as beef, chicken and pork, eggs, vinegar, soy sauce, mushrooms, corn, peanuts, dairy products, chocolate, tea and soda . The fact is, most Americans ’ diet is over-acidic. “ If acids a...
